Looking for a great end of the season race? The Cultus Lake triathlon offers Olympic and Sprint distances for the newbie and seasoned veterans in our sport. The venue is just 90 minutes from Vancouver the race takes place in beautiful Cultus Lake Park.

Race is limited to 500 athletes for 2013.

OLYMPIC DISTANCE RACE: 1500m Swim, 40km Bike, 10km Run

SPRINT DISTANCE RACE: 750m Swim, 20km Bike, 5km Run

The Cultus Lake Triathlon is back for its 7th year.  Hosted by Okanagan based event Management Company, Outback Events Ltd. the event will see both a Sprint and Olympic distance races take place.   Drawing athletes from around BC and Washington State coming to the Fraser Valley to experience and epic course in a stunning venue.  Athletes can experience a professionally run event in the beautiful surroundings of Cultus Lake.

“With the support of the Cultus Lake Park Board we are excited about being back at Cultus Lake with the support of the Ministry of Highways, City of Chilliwack and the City of Abbotsford for the race.” said Race Director Joe Dixon.  "The bike is a great one loop course with the run along the lake and past Cultus lake cottages.

Cultus Lake will host an Olympic distance triathlon consisting of a 1500m swim, 40km bike and a 10km run.  The Sprint distance race will consist of a 750m swim, 20km bike and a 5km run.

Outback Events Ltd. is a Kelowna, BC based Sports Management Company owned and operated by Joe Dixon and Sarah Dixon since 2002.  Outback Events produce the “Wine Capital of Canada” Sprint Tri, the Eastlink Oliver Half Iron in Oliver, BC, the Eastlink Desert Half Iron in Osoyoos and the Sylvan Lake Half in Sylvan Lake, AB.
